John Dingell surely was a giant in the House, a truly historic figure. For five decades, he was a major force of nature guiding some of the greatest acts of Congress. His longevity set records, but what defined the Chairman was his wit, his smarts, his wisdom and his love of country – and his wife, Debbie. By dedicating his talents and energy to public service at the highest level, he made our industry stronger, Michigan more resilient and our entire country better. He will be missed for sure, but never forgotten.
